Top Ten Tuesday – Books I Meant to Read in 2018 but Didn’t Get To

Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday! As all good bookworms will tell you, there are far too many good books for the number of hours in the day, hence today’s topic from That Artsy Reader GirlBooks I Meant to Read in 2018 but Didn’t Get To. In fact, I was surprised by how many books I didn’t need to put on this list! I obviously managed to clock some serious reading hours in 2018. (Woohoo!)

But on to today’s list. These are all new releases from 2018 that I was hoping to get a chance to read but just couldn’t fit in. Perhaps in 2019…

Which books did you not quite get to in 2018?

  1. I can’t believe I actually read 4 on your list. I feel so far behind. Missing Isaac was a favorite of my book club. Before I Saw You was excellent. Charles Martin’s book is sitting on my shelf unread as well. Thanks for sharing your list!

  2. Carolyn Hiatt

I read the Lacemaker, Send Down the Rain and Missing Isaac and I would recommend you not let another year pass before you read those 3. All were excellent.

  3. Carolyn Pretorius

The two main ones I didn’t quite get to are A Daring Venture by Elizabeth Camden and A Tale of Two Hearts by Michelle Griep. On my radar for early this year. Plenty more on my list but managed to read quite a few new releases last year.

  4. Winnie Thomas

I have 3 of these on my TBR list–plus a whole lot of others. My biggest problem is that my favorite authors keep coming out with more books, and I can’t keep up! EEP!!

Ha! And yet, if they didn’t keep them coming, we would be on their case day and night pestering them for the next one. There’s no pleasing avid readers! ☺️

  5. I haven’t read any of Lynette’s new series yet, but it’s high on my list of books I’m interested in. Hopefully I’ll at least read book one in 2019! 🙂

Book one is all I’ve managed so far, but it was good. Hope you get a chance to pick it up! 🙂
