First Line Friday – Things We Didn’t Say (Amy Lynn Green)

Happy Friday, and welcome to First Line Friday, hosted by Hoarding Books. I had the very great pleasure of reading Amy Lynn Green’s debut novel Things We Didn’t Say this week. It’s an intelligent, witty, insightful, and thought-provoking epistolary novel (meaning it’s told though letters), and I strongly encourage you to pick it up! You can read my full review here.

First Line Friday – Soul Raging (Ronie Kendig)

Happy Friday, and welcome to First Line Friday, hosted by Hoarding Books. Last weekend, I barricaded myself in my bedroom so I could dive into one of my most anticipated reads for this year: Soul Raging by Ronie Kendig, the conclusion to her Book of the Wars series. I’ve learned from experience that it’s best to make sure I have enough time to finish what I’ve started when it comes to Ronie’s books! 😉

Soul Raging releases on 3 November, and Baker Book House has a special 40% off deal at the moment, so it’s the perfect time to preorder! And I think this special runs out very soon, so be quick! And keep an eye out for my review, coming soon!

First Line Friday – By Reason of Insanity (Randy Singer)

Happy Friday, and welcome to First Line Friday, hosted by Hoarding Books. This week, I’m sharing the first line from my current read, BY REASON OF INSANITY by Randy Singer. Far from being a new release, this book is over ten years old, but it’s a cracking read. I absolutely love legal suspense, and this one has me hook, line, and sinker. And I’m going back to it right now so I can finish it! Anyone else read it?

First Line Friday – Reckless (Tamara Leigh)

Happy Friday, and welcome to First Line Friday, hosted by Hoarding Books. And happy week, since it delivered a new book by Tamara Leigh straight to my Kindle! Reckless is book number five in the Age of Conquest series, the story of Saxon warrior Vitalis and Norman-born Lady Nicola D’Argent. And what a story it is. The appellation “Reckless” is not unjustified, but I found it impossible to dislike Nicola, and I was a very willing captive until their tale was all told. Look for my review coming soon!
