Weekend Book Buzz – 28/29 Sept 2019

Posted 29 September 2019 by Katie in Book Buzz, Christian Fiction / 0 Comments

Welcome to the Weekend Book Buzz, reader friends! You may have noticed a little less activity from me around here this week, and there’s a very good reason for that. The Donovans are getting ready to build a new home! Well, getting ready for the builders to build a new home for us, come the new year. 🙂 Not only that, but we’ll be demolishing our current (old, small) home so we can stay in the same location. It’s been a loooooong time coming, but everything has finally fallen into place, praise God! Everything, that is, except colour choices, kitchen design, tile selections, flooring choices, electrical layout, brick selections, roofing options… You get the idea! And this is on top of hubby doing his back just before last weekend (he’s much improved this week—thanks for so many prayers). Needless to say, I’ve been a little…distracted by real life in the last two weeks!

As we will be moving out of our current home over the new year break, you will probably notice a little less blogging activity from me over the next couple of months while I tackle that oh-so-delightful activity known as “packing a house full of ten years of accumulated stuff,” but never fear; I will not be disappearing completely.

Right now, though, I have another edition of the Weekend Book Buzz for you, including the Carol Winners for 2019 and some great new releases for the first week in October. Happy reading!
