Welcome to the Weekend Book Buzz! I don’t know what it’s like where you are, but August is the windy month where I live. I really don’t like windy weather! In fact, of all the weather choices, windy is right down there on the bottom. Not even the fact that it’s an excuse to stay inside and read improves my opinion! Why is it, I wonder, that it’s so much more relaxing to listen to the sound of rain than the sound of wind? Reading on a rainy day = cozy. Reading on a windy day? Just not the same, if you ask me.
