Weekend Book Buzz – 13/14 April 2019

Posted 14 April 2019 by Katie in Book Buzz, Christian Fiction / 2 Comments

Welcome to the Weekend Book Buzz! It’s been a weekend of great excitement here—a weekend my children look forward to more than Christmas, if you can believe it! What is this momentous occasion, you ask? It’s called Steamfest. It’s an annual event in Maitland involving steam trains and all manner of steam-powered engines and machinery. And as we live right opposite the railway (but about 15 minutes down the line) we get steam trains coming back and forth on excursions all weekend. My five little railway enthusiasts are in train heaven (and their parents don’t mind it either 😉 ).

What about you? Are you doing something exciting this weekend, or just taking it easy and reading a good book? Oh, wait a minute. I guess that’s exciting too… 😀

Thirty Days Hath by Chautona sounds like a good story if this guy can survive 12 blind dates in a year.

Love’s Rescue by Linda S Matchett sounds like a very intriguing book. Would love to see what happens to this girl who wants to spy on the Nazis.
