Happy Tuesday, reading friends! It’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday post, thanks to That Artsy Reader Girl, and this week’s topic is New-To-Me Authors I Read in 2020. When I went back through my Goodreads list, I discovered I could actually do almost three lists this week—that’s how many new-to-me authors I read in 2020! So I’ve decided to give you a two-for-one deal today. I’m giving you a list of ten Christian fiction authors who were new to me in 2020 AND a list of general market authors who were new to me in 2020.
Some of these authors have been around for many years, and I decided to finally see what all the fuss was about, others are as new to everyone else as they are to me, and others are somewhere in between. I wonder whether I will manage as many new-to-me authors in 2021!
New-To-Me in Christian Fiction
The Gryphon Heist by James R. Hannibal A Promise to Keep by Melony Teague When I Close My Eyes by Elizabeth Musser
Tiger Queen by Annie Sullivan A Mosaic of Wings by Kimberly Duffy
Crystal Witness by Kathy Tyers Lu. by Beth Troy Hidden Current by Sharon Hinck
Fragments of Light by Michele Phoenix Things We Didn’t Say by Amy Lynn Green
New-To-Me in General Market Fiction
The Alice Network by Kate Quinn Because of Miss Bridgerton by Julia Quinn Murder at the Brightwell by Ashley Weaver
Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella The Hating Game by Sally Thorne
The Chateau of Happily Ever Afters by Jaimie Admans A Dangerous Duet by Karen Odden Elantris by Brandon Sanderson
27 Ways to Find a Boyfriend by Shari L. Tapscott Simply Starstruck by Aspen Hadley
I absolutely LOVE Elantris! I hope you enjoyed it, too. I was pretty late to the Sanderson party, in general, as well, and it took my husband a lot of talking me into finally picking up one of his books and giving it a try, but I’m glad I did. xD He’s one of my favorite authors now! (But shhh, don’t tell hubby he was right! It’ll go straight to his head.)
I love your post and the books that you’ve shared! I am going to take a look at a few of these. Julia Quinn is new to me too, I guess she’s going to get a few of us with the hit series on Netflix and that dashing Duke! I loved The Alice Network and I should have added Kate Quinn to my list as well.
I haven’t read a novel by Sophie Kinsella but always thought they sounded fun. Also, Amy Lynn Green’s book sounds so good!! Hope you found some new favorites in this list. 🙂
I’ve seen Sally Thorne’s names around, but I haven’t picked up a book by her yet! Here is my post-https://paigesofbook.blogspot.com/2021/01/top-ten-tuesday-new-to-me-authors-i.html.
I read the books by Kimberly Duffy, Melony Teague, and Amy Lynn Green. I also read Heidi Kimball, Mimi Matthews, Janine Rosche, Megan Walker, Erica Vetsch, and Ashley Clark.
The only author I’ve read out of both lists is Julia Quinn! I hope you can stop by:

I’ve never heard of 27 Ways to Find a Boyfriend, but it sounds right up my alley, thanks!
