Happy Tuesday, book lovers! This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic, thanks to That Artsy Reader Girl, is Bookish Worlds I’d Want/Not Want to Live In. Being the positive person I am, I’m primarily sticking with the want side of that equation, but I’ve also thrown in a few for the not want side, just for contrast—and because there are some worlds I could think of that I really am glad I don’t live in!

Love in Three Quarter Time by Rachel McMillan is set largely in gorgeous Vienna. Say no more!
The Austen Escapeby Katherine Reay is set in England in a beautiful home where you can dress the part of an Austen character and fully immerse yourself in Regency life. Yes, please!
A Name Unknown by Roseanna M. White takes place in Cornwall, England, where the main character has the task of putting Peter Holstein’s library in order. Notwithstanding Rosemary’s shock when she first sees the library, I can just smell the books!
The Captivating Lady Charlotte by Carolyn Miller is set in the Regency period, partly in London and partly on a country estate. Regency life at its sweetest!
The Road to Paradise by Karen Barnett is set in Mt Rainier National Park, and it’s brought to life so beautifully I can’t help wanting to go there!
Bookish Worlds I Don’t Want to Live In
The Mayflower Bride by Kimberley Woodhouse will leave you extremely grateful you didn’t have to travel to the New World by boat!
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins probably doesn’t need any explanation. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have been the winner, either…
Annabel Lee by Mike Nappa tells the story of the eponymous Annabel Lee, who is secreted away in an underground bunker for her own safety. Not for me, thank you! Although, if there was a power supply and I could recharge my Kindle I might be good for a while… 😉

Paris has always been at the top of my list for places I want to live. But thanks to Love in Three-Quarter Time, Vienna has now replaced Paris on my list. I’ve also always been fascinated by Cornwall and love reading about it in fiction.
The Austen Escape sounds so incredible! I haven’t read it, but I’d be totally down for that. The Hunger Games is one I’ve been seeing a lot–for good reason because it’d be horrible. I definitely don’t think I’d want to travel to the new world by boat, so I wholeheartedly agree with that as well.

I think `The Hunger Games` would be intriguing.
