Welcome to First Line Friday, hosted by Hoarding Books! I just finished reading the book I’m sharing with you today: Hidden in the Stars by Melanie Dobson. And I have to say, it was completely spellbinding. This is a time-slip novel (meaning it has a historical and a contemporary story) but if you love WWII fiction, I highly recommend checking this out. Welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday, reader friends. How’s 2018 treating you so far? It’s been a scorcher where I am in New South Wales, Australia, with temps ranging from 39-45C over the last few days (that’s 102-111F), so I’ve been hibernating in the air-conditioning and playing match referee/crisis counsellor to my house-bound children. Fun. 😳 Thankfully it’s cooled down a little today!

Want to hear a funny story? I’ve been planning on mixing up my blog posts a bit this year, now that I’m settling into the book blogging community and discovering all the fun things that go on.
