Hello, reader friends. We’re just two days away from Summer here in Australia, so while the girls at The Broke and the Bookish have nominated ‘Books on my Winter TBR’ for today’s Top Ten topic, I will, of course, be giving you the books that I’ll be reading over the glorious (and, let’s face it, sometimes stinking hot!) days of the Australian summer. Not that it makes much difference to the books that will actually be on my list, but . . . you know. Just so you’re all picturing sunshine instead of snow. 🙂
It’s been a busy weekend for me this weekend, with a flying visit (literally and figuratively!) to Melbourne to see TWO of my favourite groups in concert together. If you’re a fan of a cappella vocal music and you’ve never heard of Australian vocal group The Idea of North, or Swedish vocal group The Real Group, then you need to fix that pronto! But that’s probably not why you’re here, and there’s plenty of bookish news to share too, so let’s get down to business, eh?
Well, I’m finally home, safe and sound, with a pile of laundry to keep me busy for the whole weekend! So, once again, there hasn’t been a lot happening around here this week. But never fear!
