Hi there, reader friends. I have something new for you today—an idea that came to me after one of those thinking sessions where you begin with one small idea that eventually snowballs into a much bigger idea. And it all started with a kiss dare!
Just kidding. Sort of. It actually started with The Kiss Dare—a free short story that’s available to readers who sign up to receive Jessica Kate’s newsletter.
It got me thinking about how much I love being able to sample an author’s writing, and how many authors I’ve discovered BECAUSE I’ve been able to sample their writing. But how do you find out about these authors?
What if I could help you find those authors?
And that’s how The Kiss Dare spiralled into what I hope will be a weekly post that will help you discover a new author to fall in love with!
Now, who’s Jessica Kate? you’re asking. She’s a fellow-Australian for starters! Not only that, but her debut novel Love and Other Mistakes will be releasing with Thomas Nelson on 30 July, so if you love sassy romantic comedy, make sure she’s on your TBR. After reading The Kiss Dare, she’s definitely on mine!
You can get your own copy of The Kiss Dare (plus a sneak peek at her upcoming release) by signing up for her newsletter at www.jessicakatewriting.com. In the meantime, check out what these authors have had to say about it:
About the Author
Australian author Jessica Kate writes inspirational romances that are fun, sassy and real.
Jess is a screenwriting groupie, co-host of the StoryNerds vlog and podcasts (www.facebook.com/storynerds), and her favorite place to be – apart from Mum and Dad’s back deck – is a theme park.
She’s traveled North America and Australia, and samples her favorite pasta wherever she goes – but the best (so far) is still the place around the corner from her corporate day job as a training developer.
She loves watching sit-coms with her housemates and being a leader in a new church plant.
