Best of 2018: The Emoji Files, Part V – The LOL Awards

Posted 5 January 2019 by Katie in Humour, Romance / 0 Comments

Hello, reader friends, and welcome to the final post in my Best of 2018 series, The Emoji Files. Today’s list is a slightly smaller one, particularly in terms of the number of authors represented, but there are still laughs aplenty to be had.

If you want to read the previous posts in this series, you can find them here:

The Swoony Awards
The “Got Me in the Feels” Awards
The WOW Awards
The “Take Me Away” Awards

Bria Quinlan – The Brew-Ha-Ha Series

I need to preface this by saying this isn’t Christian fiction, but it is clean fiction and full of a whole lot of laughs.

Read my reviews

Jenny B. Jones – Save the Date and Royally in Trouble

Jenny B. Jones is another favourite of mine, and I read three of hers this year. Save the Date released several years ago, but the other two released quite recently. And they’re all worth a read!

Read my reviews:
Save the Date
Royally in Trouble
His Mistletoe Miracle

Jennifer Rodewald – The Cupcake Dilemma

Last, but by no means least, is this fun little novella from Jennifer Rodewald, which released on Valentine’s Day in 2018. You can read my review here.

Did you read any books that made you LOL this year? I’d love to hear about them!

The Lieutenant’s Bargain by Regina Jennings had me chuckling, giggling, and laughing out loud. I love her books. Caught by Surprise by Jen Turano is also a LOL story. I can always count on Jen’s books to give me some laughs.
