Welcome to Part IV of my Best of 2018 series, The Emoji Files. Today, I’m sharing those reads that carried me away to a different time and place and so thoroughly immersed me in the world of the story that I forgot it wasn’t the here and now!
This year I travelled as far back in time as Israel’s early years in the Promised Land (A Light on the Hill), and all the way out of this world to the Nine Kingdoms in Ronie Kendig’s Fierian. I’ve shared in the challenges of the early apostles (A Conspiracy of Breath), been entertained by a troubadour (The Raveling), painted in Yosemite National Park (Where the Fire Falls), and been drawn into the struggles of two very different women in 1950s Pennsylvania (The Solace of Water). If you’re an armchair time-traveller, this is the list for you! No Tardis required . . . 😉

I read both A Light on the Hill and The Solace of Water. Some of the others are on my TBR though 🙂
It’s hard when there are so many good books to choose from, isn’t it?
YES!!!!
Honored to be on your list for A Conspiracy of Breath! Thank you!
