Hello, book lovers! I’d say happy Tuesday, but I’m still a little shell-shocked after waking up to the news about Notre Dame, and somehow it seems a little callous to simply wish you all a happy Tuesday, as though nothing of significance has happened.
It’s seventeen years since I visited Notre Dame, but having only recently read The Hunchback of Notre Dame, it feels like I visited much more recently, which somehow makes the sense of devastation more accute. I guess that just goes to show how powerful the reading experience can be!
But on to today’s Top Ten Tuesday with That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s topic is Rainy Day Reads, and I’ve taken a rather literal approach, since I think pretty much any book can be classed as a rainy day read. I mean, so long as you’re reading, right? 😉
So I have ten books for you that feature the word “rain” in the title (or “raindrops” in the case of the last one). And I only managed to have two books with the same title. I was a little worried there wouldn’t be much variety! These are all TBR books, so I’d love to know if you’ve read and enjoyed any of these. 🙂
I’m still in shock about Notre Dame, too. I went to a mass there when I was in Paris last summer, at my sister’s recommendation, and I was overwhelmed with its beauty.
I like your list. I took the prompt literally, too, though we haven’t any books in common. Interesting.
Thank you for sharing these with us. I’d love to hear your thoughts on my list.
The only book on your list I have read (although a lot are on the TBR list) is Rain Song. I liked it very much. Thanks for sharing!

I couldn’t agree with you more. Any book can be a great rainy day read.
My TTT.
After the Rain by Brandy Bruce is fantastic! I loved it!
