Happy Tuesday, reader friends, and welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday post thanks to That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s official topic is Books on my TBR I’m Avoiding Reading and Why, but I don’t have room for those kinds of books on my TBR. What I do have on my TBR are books that I haven’t been able to get to because . . . well, there’s only 24 hours in the day, so I’ve altered the topic slightly to Books I’ve Had to Delay Reading (Because . . . Time).
The good news is that I’ll have finished some non-blogging reading commitments that have been tying up my reading time by the end of the week, so I’ve been eagerly planning which books I’m going to pick up first. Here are the books I’ve had to delay reading (in no particular order).
(And yes, there are twelve, because the first three are one story divided across three books, so I’m counting them as one!)
What do you think? Have I got some good reading ahead of me?
Oh my, yes!!! Carry Me Home, Just One Kiss, The Spice King, Ford, and I’m going to say The Aftermath (I’ve just started and I’m hooked!) are fantastic.
You and I need to do a joint read of Jessica’s novels, for sure 🙂 Love the topic and I just might steal it, if that’s okay with you!
You’ve got some awesome reading ahead of you. The Spice King, A Glitter of Gold, Just One Kiss, and Ford have been knock-outs! I’m currently reading through A Single Light and biting my nails trying to calm my nervous energy. I need to get my hands on Nancy Mehl’s and Amy Matayo’s books too. I haven’t read anything by Jessica Dotta but apparently I must!
You need to start reading!!! 🙂 I just finished Ford and it is excellent! I also really loved Just One Kiss, and A Glitter Of Gold was also a good one!
I’m still wanting to read some of those others…sadly, I also have some of those books…ones that I do want to read, but keep getting put aside because others have to be read first. :/
Ooo! “The Spice King” is on my list of fall TBR reads! Hoping to pick it up next, and of course, I’m curious about Susan’s series, but I have SO many of her books to read that have released since her last Tyndale series. *sigh* There’s just too many books and too little time. 😀
You definitely have some great books to read! I’ve read Just One Kiss and A Glitter of Gold and loved them. I’m reading The Spice King and enjoying it so far. I have Ford and The Aftermath on my TBR list, too. Carry Me Home and The Work of Art are going on my TBR list now!

Of course it’s okay! And I can think of a perfect time to do a joint read of Jessica’s novels 😉
I’ve seen other sites talk about twelve books this week. You’re not alone there!
My TTT.
