Welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday post, thanks to That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s prompt really got me thinking: 10 Signs You’re a Book Lover. I mean, you’d think it was pretty obvious, wouldn’t you? I’m a book lover, ergo, I should know all the signs. But it actually took me a bit of thought to come up with ten.
So here they are. Ten signs you’re a book lover. Let me know how many you identify with!
You never leave home without your Kindle (or at the very least, the book you’re currently reading).
You leave extra early for your appointments so that you have time to read while you wait.
You calculate the amount of wall space needed for bookshelves when planning to build your new home.
Your TBR has a waiting list.
You start talking about something that happened to a friend of yours…and then realise your “friend” is actually a character from a book you read recently.
You head to bed for an early night so you can spend the next three hours reading.
You find yourself surreptitiously (or not-so-surreptitiously) checking out people’s bookshelves when they invite you over to visit.
Your idea of the ideal vacation involves a stack of books and a lot of reading time.
You consider, “So, what are you reading at the moment?” a perfectly acceptable way to begin a conversation.
You consider it morally reprehensible to walk past a bookshop without going inside.
Have some signs of your own to share with me? I’d love to hear them!
Yep, I always carry a book with me, and I definitely take books on vacation. I’m also guilty of checking out other people’s bookshelves! Here is my Top Ten Tuesday.
You nailed it!! I have all 10 of these ‘symptoms’ 🙂
Well, I would say quarantine is definitely in order 😉
1, 8 & 10 are definitely true for me!

I can claim a few of yours too! Thanks for sharing 🙂
🙂
Yup. Totally understand all the points….especially looking at other people’s bookshelves….😶
Or zooming in on photos of people’s bookshelves! 😂
I’d never thought of having a waiting list for a TBR before. Funny!
My TTT .
Well, it kind of came about by accident. Lol! Let’s just say I’m not likely to run out of books any time soon ☺️

Your list pretty much describes me well too! Obviously there were more than ten signs I could have included!
Your list entirely describes me. Lol!
Twinsies!!
Oh so true!!! 😀 This is brilliant!
Haha. Thanks!
I’m all about a book on the way out the door; we cannot leave home without them…! 🙂 Oh! And a TBR having a waiting list? SO MUCH YES!
