Dawn of Vengeance (Ronie Kendig) – Review

A haunting prophecy upended his identity. Now it demands his life.

Once a formidable bounty hunter, Marco Dusan is plagued by insecurity as he tours the realm he now rules. This quiet, backwater planet is not as untouched as he’d once thought. Evidence of collusion between Droseran factions and the powerful Symmachians with their forbidden technology litters his encounters. Worse, all signs indicate Xisya, the alien who tortured him, is still snatching Kynigos Brethren–but to what end?

Lance Corporal Eija Zacdari works hard to win a coveted place on the Symmachian hyperjump program, but instinct tells her their intel is flawed. Despite nearly failing the tests, she is assigned to the team-and lands in the middle of a bewildering conspiracy.

Also, Ronie Kendig will be going live on Instagram on release night, so make sure you’re there! @kendigronie

Soul Raging (Ronie Kendig) – Review

Sometimes, the only hope is the enemy.

Leif Metcalfe is done waiting for answers and seizes control, a move that comes with a high price and a deadly risk: teaming up with the enemy. He can only hope that what he uncovers will heal the wounds he’s inflicted on those he loves.

Iskra Todorova believes Leif is on a collision course with death and knows firsthand the irrevocable cost of that path to the soul. While trying to protect her daughter and intervene with Leif, Iskra is forced to set her sights on the man behind the evil organization ArC–Ciro Veratti.

Torn apart by injuries and opposing views on how to handle Leif’s act of treachery, team Reaper hunts one of their own. The only thing they agree on is not stopping but starting the final battle prophesied in the Book of the Wars.

First Line Friday – Soul Raging (Ronie Kendig)

Happy Friday, and welcome to First Line Friday, hosted by Hoarding Books. Last weekend, I barricaded myself in my bedroom so I could dive into one of my most anticipated reads for this year: Soul Raging by Ronie Kendig, the conclusion to her Book of the Wars series. I’ve learned from experience that it’s best to make sure I have enough time to finish what I’ve started when it comes to Ronie’s books! 😉

Soul Raging releases on 3 November, and Baker Book House has a special 40% off deal at the moment, so it’s the perfect time to preorder! And I think this special runs out very soon, so be quick! And keep an eye out for my review, coming soon!

Kings Falling (Ronie Kendig) – Review

Leif Metcalfe and his team, dubbed Reaper, need to recover the stolen, ancient Book of the Wars if they hope to stop the Armageddon Coalition and their pursuit of global economic control. But their attention has been diverted by a prophecy in the book that foretells of formidable guardians who will decimate the enemies of ArC. While Iskra Todorova uses her connections in the covert underworld to hunt down the Book of the Wars, Leif and Reaper attempt to neutralize these agents but quickly find themselves outmaneuvered and outgunned.

The more Reaper tries to stop the guardians, the more failure becomes a familiar, antagonistic foe. Friendships are fractured, and the team battles to hold it together long enough to defeat ArC.

Brand of Light (Ronie Kendig) – Review

There’s a price on her head, and it has everything to do with the brand on her arm.

Tertian Space Coalition has blessed every planet in the quadrants with high technology, save one: Drosero. But in spite of their tenuous treaty with the ruling clans, TSC has plans for the backward planet. And they’re not alone.

First Line Friday – Brand of Light (Ronie Kendig)

Happy Friday, book lovers, and welcome to First Line Friday hosted by Hoarding Books. I am SO excited about sharing this week’s First Line Friday with you all! I’m not typically a fan of science fiction or space operas (I haven’t even watched Star Wars!), but I’ve had the privilege of reading Ronie Kendig’s Brand of Light, which releases on Tuesday, 3 December, and It. Is. The. Bomb! I can’t even begin to tell you all the emotions tearing through me at the end of this book. Can anyone say, “How long until the second book comes out?”
