First Line Friday – Dawn of Vengeance (Ronie Kendig)

Happy Friday, and welcome to First Line Friday, hosted by Hoarding Books. I feel like I have been waiting F-O-R-E-V-E-R for this book to be out in the world, but Dawn of Vengeance will finally release next Tuesday, 8 December. I cannot begin to tell you how big a hold this series has on my heart. Even if you’ve never read a space opera or aren’t usually a fantasy/sci-fi reader, I encourage you to give this series a try, starting with Brand of Light.

First Line Friday – Soul Raging (Ronie Kendig)

Happy Friday, and welcome to First Line Friday, hosted by Hoarding Books. Last weekend, I barricaded myself in my bedroom so I could dive into one of my most anticipated reads for this year: Soul Raging by Ronie Kendig, the conclusion to her Book of the Wars series. I’ve learned from experience that it’s best to make sure I have enough time to finish what I’ve started when it comes to Ronie’s books! 😉

Kings Falling (Ronie Kendig) – Review

Leif Metcalfe and his team, dubbed Reaper, need to recover the stolen, ancient Book of the Wars if they hope to stop the Armageddon Coalition and their pursuit of global economic control. But their attention has been diverted by a prophecy in the book that foretells of formidable guardians who will decimate the enemies of ArC. While Iskra Todorova uses her connections in the covert underworld to hunt down the Book of the Wars, Leif and Reaper attempt to neutralize these agents but quickly find themselves outmaneuvered and outgunned.

The more Reaper tries to stop the guardians, the more failure becomes a familiar, antagonistic foe. Friendships are fractured, and the team battles to hold it together long enough to defeat ArC.

I’m not typically a fan of science fiction or space operas (I haven’t even watched Star Wars!), but I’ve had the privilege of reading Ronie Kendig’s Brand of Light, which releases on Tuesday, 3 December, and It. Is. The. Bomb! I can’t even begin to tell you all the emotions tearing through me at the end of this book. Can anyone say, “How long until the second book comes out?”
