Weekend Book Buzz – 27/28 January 2018

G’day booklovers! It’s the Australia Day long weekend here, and it’s hot! Today’s temps of around 34 degrees Celsius (93 Fahrenheit) are the coolest it’s been for a week now, and we’re ready for a change! Bring on the cool breeze! Luckily, we were able to spend Friday (Australia Day) visiting with friends and swimming in their pool—as well as indulging in some true blue, fair dinkum Aussie competition, like a gumboot throwing competition and a meat pie eating competition.
