Welcome to another edition of First Line Friday, hosted by Hoarding Books. This week I’m featuring the next adventure from my favourite amateur detective, Drew Farthering. He and Madeline are off to the British Open, but they get a little bit more than they bargained on during this trip! Death at Thorborn Hall released on Tuesday 7 November, and not only did I review this book (you can read my review here), but Drew actually came to visit me on the blog! 😍 I may have been just be a little giddy! But for now, here’s the details of his latest adventure.
~ About the Book ~
Thorburn Hall is filled with guests, and as Drew continues to dig, he realizes that each might have had a motive to put Rainsby out of the way. Together with Madeline and Nick, he must sort through shady business dealings, international intrigue, and family tensions to find a killer who always seems to be one step ahead.
~ First Line ~
Madeline Farthering gripped her husband’s arm a little more tightly as they made their way through the mass of people crowding Waverley Station, certain that if they were separated in this chaos she’d never be able to find him again.
I just love Drew and Madeline!
