Welcome to the weekend, reader friends! Whatever else you have planned this weekend, I hope you’ll have time to discover a new author.
This week, I’m introducing you to contemporary romance author Jaycee Weaver, whose novella Adrift, is now permanently free on all eBook platforms—although Kindle doesn’t seem to have pushed this change through for non-US buyers it seems. (Typical of Amazon, I’m afraid. That said, it’s only around $1 anyway, so it’s still a great way to discover a new author if you can’t get it for free on another platform.)
Incidently, this novella is exactly how I discovered Jaycee Weaver, so I can highly recommend it!
About the Book
I’m overwhelmed. Truth be told, I’ve been overwhelmed for years. Adrift in a sea of stress and grief and clinging to the life raft of responsibility.
It’s time I start swimming again. And someday? Maybe surf the waves instead of being pulled under and dragged out to sea.
God offers so much more for Erin than a life of treading water, focusing all her time and attention on running a small business while raising her kids after the death of her husband.
Through strangely poignant dreams and a series of run-ins with an unexpectedly attractive guy from church, Erin finds the hope she’ll not only feel alive again, but maybe even ride life’s waves victoriously.
Adrift is the first of several novellas tied to the fictional Grace Springs Fellowship in the full-length Everyday Love series. These journal-style novellas are roughly 18-20K words, filled with vivid imagery and reflect the ways in which God at work in the main character’s life.
Discover a new author this weekend when you get your free copy of "Adrift" by Jaycee Weaver. Check out this post for all the details.
While you’re at it, you could check out some of Jaycee’s other books. The third book in her Everyday Love series, What Makes a Home, released just ten days ago!
What are you waiting for? Go and discover a new author!
About the Author
Jaycee Weaver lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with her amazing husband, three daughters, a crazy shih-tzu, and a dwarf rabbit. When she’s not writing, she’s probably in hot pursuit of her 90 million other hobbies or shuttling the kids around. Jaycee loves to read books in multiple genres, drink too much coffee (honestly, when are they going to make the coffee IV a real thing?!), sing, take landscape and floral photos, sew, cook, bake, and craft nearly anything. She considers herself a recovering perfectionist and sometimes hot mess. She does her best to live her faith in action, being open, honest, and real; letting God be Lord over the good, the bad, and the ugly even when it’s hard.
