Welcome to First Line Friday, hosted by Hoarding Books! I’m having a particularly emotional week this week, thanks to some thoughtless book planning on my behalf. Perhaps I was doing it late at night (highly possible), because at some point I thought it would be a good idea to put Heidi Chiavaroli’s The Hidden Side and Catherine West’s Where Hope Begins (review to come) one after the other on my reading schedule. 😳 Can anyone say ’emotional overload’?! Seriously, though, they’re both fabulous books, and I highly recommend them. Just . . . perhaps not one after the other! Give yourself some recovery time in
